Google Circle Terms

Eligibility to be a Founding Member of the Google Circle

Becoming a founding member of the Google Circle is open to members who joined Kindred prior to Dec 1, 2025 who currently work at Google or its affiliated companies (such as YouTube or Waymo), or are verified as an ex-Google employee.
We identify eligible members through:

  • Email verification using an @google.com address, or
  • LinkedIn profile

Note: We’re unable to reliably differentiate contractors, and these participants are still eligible to join.

Members who have disclosed their Google affiliation through their user profile on Kindred already will receive a personal email invitation to join the Google Circle pre-launch in December 2025.

Founding members who join the Google Circle between Dec 1 and the February 2026 launch are eligible to earn rewards. To view the full Kindred Circle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, click here. Below is a quick summary of how it works:

Pre-Launch Perks for Founding Members

1. Invite Friends to the Waitlist

  • Each friend you invite receives $250 in Kindred travel rewards once they upload photos of their home.
  • You’ll earn $25 for every friend who joins the waitlist using your link.
  • Friends must verify employment (via Google email or LinkedIn) and provide their name, role, and personal email.
  • You’ll receive your reward as soon as they sign up — they don’t need to complete full onboarding for you to earn.
  • Rewards for the pre-launch program are travel rewards only. You will not receive Kindred referral credits for friends who join the Google waitlist with their invite code, regardless of whether that friend goes on to become a verified member.

2. Add Your Availability

  • You can list availability for hosting dates after February, 2026.
  • ‍You must add at least 5 consecutive nights of availability to qualify for the reward.
  • These dates will be held until launch.
  • You’ll receive an additional $100 reward for completing this step.
  • If you'd like to hold additional blocks of availability for the Google Circle, you can reach out to Concierge to add, or wait to add those blocks at launch. Adding additional blocks of reserved availability does not grant you additional rewards.

3. Maximum Rewards

  • Current Kindred members can earn up to $1,000 total in pre-launch rewards.

Reward Redemption

All earned rewards will be consolidated into a single coupon issued at launch in February 2026.

Redemption Details

  • Rewards cannot be used before launch.
  • Coupons apply toward cleaning and service fees at checkout.
  • Members still spend travel credits for each night of their trip.
  • Coupons may also be applied toward your Kindred Passport.

Eligibility

  • New users must upload photos of their home to redeem rewards.
  • Homes that do not meet Kindred’s quality or eligibility standards may be placed on our waitlist. In those cases, rewards cannot be redeemed.

Expiration

  • All coupons must be redeemed within one year of launch.

FAQs

  • When will I get my voucher? All earned rewards will be consolidated into a single coupon and issued at launch of the Google Circle in February 2026.
  • Can I use my earnings across multiple trips? Yes. Your coupon will automatically apply to your next trip in full. If there’s any remaining value after that booking, the leftover amount will roll over into a new coupon and be automatically applied to your following trip.
  • Who is eligible to join the Google Circle? Anyone who is currently at Google or has worked at Google in the past is eligible to join the Circle, including current employees, past employees, contractors and interns. Googlers and Xooglers are verified using work email addresses and LinkedIn.
  • Can I book any home on Kindred with my rewards?  Yes, once the Circle launches and rewards are issued, they can be applied towards any home on Kindred, regardless if that home belongs to the Google Circle or not. In order to confirm a booking on Kindred, everyone must verify their ID and home by uploading photos.
  • What does my referral need to do for me to earn $25? Referrals need to join the waitlist which requires the person you refer to share their personal email, name, home city and verify they are a past or present Google employee
