Kindred is a home swap community — members stay in each other's homes instead of paying for hotels. Community events are where that network turns into real life: member-hosted gatherings where you meet the people whose home you might one day stay in, and who might one day stay in yours.
Every gathering is hosted by a member, not by staff. There is no agenda and nothing to prepare — turn up, swap travel and hosting stories, and ask anything you want about house swapping. Kindred covers the tab.
Gatherings run across London, New York, Brooklyn, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Miami, Athens, Chicago, Madrid, Dublin and Mexico City. A few formats repeat, so they are easy to recognise: Sip & Stroll neighbourhood walks, Toast & Table dinners, Art & Atmosphere gallery evenings, Mind & Motion yoga and park hikes, and Women Travelers Circle meetups.
Any Kindred member can host. Choose a format, pick a date, and we will cover the costs and help you fill the room. Hosting is the fastest way to meet the members most likely to swap homes with you.
