With approval, you may be able to adjust your trip.

  • Extending your stay: You can request to stay longer, but approval is at the host’s discretion. If approved, you’ll pay the credits and fees for each additional day.
  • Shortening your stay: If you shorten a trip more than 30 days before arrival, you’ll get refunded the difference in credits and fees. If you shorten the trip within 30 days of arrival, you won’t get any refunds. The host still receives their credits for your original stay.
  • Switching homes: Switching to another Kindred home for the same dates transfers the original service and cleaning fees to the new booking. You’ll pay the difference in fees if applicable. Contact your concierge if you want to make a switch.
  • Changing the number of guests or pets: Any changes require the host’s approval. If the host doesn’t approve, Trip Protection won’t apply, and the Guest Cancellation Policy will be enforced.

If a host shortens a trip after confirmation, the Host Cancellation Policy applies to the affected nights.
